Arkema Invests Big in China; Sets 2010 Financial Goals

Arkema has announced several capacity expansions in China to boost the share of its total sales in Asia from 13%, to 20% by 2012. Arkema made the announcements at an “investor day,” held last week at the company’s Colombes, France headquarters. A capital investment budget of €50 million/year ($70.6 million/year) has been allocated for Arkema’s investments in Asia over the next three years.
