Altana opens China research facility for coatings, sealants; will build additives plant, expand capacity for wire enamels

Altana’s Actega coating and sealants division has opened a new research laboratory for coatings and sealants at its production site at Foshan, Guangdong Province. At its Tongling site, in Anhui Province—already the world's largest production facility for wire enamels—the Elantas electrical insulation division is expanding capacity by a further 40%, to over 60,000 m.t./year, by building a new plant...
