Regions :: China Albemarle Raises Stakes in Chinese JVs5:32 AM MDT | August 7, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Albemarle says it has agreed to increase its stakes in two China-based joint ventures it owns with Jinhai Chemical (Jinhai, China)—Ningbo Jinhai Albemarle Chemical & Industry (Ningbo) and Shanghai Jinhai Albemarle Fine Chemicals (Shanghai)—from 25%, to 75%. The former jv produces specialty polymer stabilizers, and the latter makes polymer stabilizers and intermediates. Financial terms were not disclosed.
