Regions :: China Albemarle Plans New Flame Retardant Plant11:44 AM MST | December 4, 2007 | CW Editorial Staff Albemarle says it will start up a new flame retardants plant at Nanjing, China in the second quarter of 2008. The new plant will manufacture NcendX P-30, a bisphenol A diphosphate flame retardant used in electronic enclosure plastics. The plant will have initial capacity of 4,000 m.t./year, with the option to expand at a later date, Albemarle says. “This new plant will improve Albemarle’s flexibility to supply our Asian customers as well as the rest of our global customer base for this important and growing flame retardant,” says Luc Van Muylem...
