AkzoNobel Completes Acquisition of Specialty Surfactant Producer in China

AkzoNobel says it has today completed the previously announced acquisition of Boxing Oleochemicals (Binzhou, China), a leading supplier of nitrile amines and derivatives in China and other parts of Asia. Plans for acquisition were first announced in July 2011. The acquisition will further strengthen AkzoNobel’s leadership position in specialty surfactants and enhance its manufacturing footprint in Asia, the company says.
