Regions :: China Air Liquide Signs Gas Supply Deal with Sinopec4:13 AM MST | November 22, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Air Liquide has signed a deal with Sinopec for the supply of gaseous oxygen and nitrogen to its subsidiary Sinopec Maoming Company’s (MPCC; Maoming, Guangdong province, China) coal-to-hydrogen project and existing refinery at Maoming. Air Liquide and Sinopec have entered into a 50-50 joint venture for the gas supply to MPCC. The supply will be based on the investment in a new air separation unit (ASU) with a capacity of 3,000 m.t./day of oxygen, and it will be the largest ASU in China, when it becomes operational in the first half of 2013, Air Liquide says...
