Chinese firm selects Dow Unipol PP technology

Dow Chemical says that Qinghai Provincial Mining Co. has signed a license agreement with Union Carbide Chemicals & Plastics Technology, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow, for the Unipol polypropylene (PP) process technology for Qinghai Provincial Mining’s 400,000-m.t./year PP plant at Haixi, in Qinghai Province, China.
