AkzoNobel to build powder coatings, decorative paints facilities in China

AkzoNobel says it will invest a total of over €50 million ($67 million) to build new manufacturing facilities at Chengdu, China, for its powder coatings and decorative paints businesses. The powder coatings facility is scheduled to open in 2014 and the decorative paints site is expected to start production in 2015.
