Lanxess on track with EPDM project in China

Lanxess says it is progressing according to plan with the construction of its previously announced world-scale plant for ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) synthetic rubber at Changzhou, China. Lanxess announced plans for the project in September 2012 and the company is investing €235 million ($317 million) to build the 160,000-m.t./year plant, which will be the world's largest EPDM plant.
