Sinopec and Wanhua Chemical sign five-year cooperation agreement

Sinopec says it has signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Wanhua Chemical Group (Yantai, China), formerly called Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes, for a five-year period—from 2013 to 2018. Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes changed its name to Wanhua Chemical in June to reflect the expansion of the company's business operations. Wanhua, which was established in 1998, is a leading producer of methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate (MDI).
