OECD urges China to enact carbon tax

OECD (Paris), in its latest Economic Survey of China report, says that the country must move toward greener growth. To achieve this greener growth, further improvement is needed in energy efficiency and reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions/unit of GDP, with carbon taxation preferable to emissions trading, OECD says.
