Regions :: China KBR MTO technology selected for olefins recovery unit in China8:54 PM MDT | October 3, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh KBR says it has been awarded a license and process design package contract by Jiutai Energy Group (Linyi, Shandong Province, China ) for its methanol to olefins (MTO) recovery project at Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China. KBR’s MTO technology will be used in the recovery process for Jiutai’s 600,000-m.t./year ethylene and propylene unit. The recovery process will take 1.8 million m.t./year methanol to the MTO reactor and convert it.
