Huntsman EO Leak Halts Plant

Huntsman says it was forced to halt production at its glycol ethers plant at Botany, Australia due to an ethylene oxide (EO) leak on October 28. About 1,500 lbs of EO was released into the air as a result of a instrument malfunction. Operators have since restarted the plant, and there were no injuries, Huntsman says.
