Regions :: Australia/New Zealand Ammonia Leak at Orica Plant12:29 AM MST | November 10, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Orica (Melbourne) says that there was a leak of ammonia from its production site at Kooragang Island, New South Wales (NSW), Australia, yesterday afternoon. The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) of the NSW government and other regulatory bodies were notified, Orica says. The EPA has issued a Prevention Notice to Orica and has begun an investigation into the incident.
