DSM acquires New Zealand-based producer of nutritional products

DSM says it has acquired Unitech Industries Ltd. (Auckland, New Zealand), a producer of nutritional products for both human and animal markets. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Unitech has annual sales of about 50 million New Zealand dollars ($39 million) and the company employs about 100 people, DSM says. The acquisition has closed, and with this acquisition, DSM has production facilities in over 40 countries in its nutrition business, the company says.
