Australian high court upholds findings that SNF infringed BASF’s Rheomax ETD patents

BASF says it welcomes the High Court of Australia's decision to uphold findings that SNF Australia (Lara, Australia) has infringed BASF’s Rheomax enhanced tailings disposal (ETD) patents and that those patents are valid. The decision marks the end of proceedings in Australia, which commenced in 2008. The Rheomax ETD Technology is part of BASF’s solutions for tailings management. ETD is a method of tailings management in which novel technology is used to change and control the structural and drainage properties of mineral processing residues...
