Regions :: Africa :: South Africa Sasol to Sell Five Fertilizer Blending Plants in South Africa5:50 AM MDT | September 7, 2010 | Natasha Alperowicz Sasol Nitro, a division of Sasol Chemical Industries, plans to divest five fertilizer blending plants in South Africa as part of a settlement agreed with the Competition Commission of South Africa in July of this year. Sasol says the divestment will address the commission's concerns regarding Sasol Nitro's position in nitrogen fertilizers. The company will sell the Bellville, Durban, Kimberley, Potchefstroom and Endicott blending plants before August 2011.
