Sasol Polymers Settles Price Fixing Suit

Sasol Polymers says it has agreed to a R 111.6 million settlement ($16.4 million) with the South African Competition Commission in relation to its existing propylene supply agreement with plastics manufacturer Safripol (Bryanston, South Africa). Pricing provisions of the supply agreement gave rise to indirect price fixing between Sasol Polymers and Safripol, the commission says.
