Jacobs Awarded Fertilizer Contract in South Africa

Jacobs Engineering has been awarded two contracts by Foskor to design and fabricate two final acid towers and one acid cooler for Foskor's sulfuric acid plants at Richards Bay, South Africa. Financial terms were not disclosed.   Jacobs is designing the equipment and process for two final acid towers using Jacobs' proprietary Chemetics alloy, Saramet, under the terms of the contract.
