IMCD acquires specialties distributor in South Africa

Distributor IMCD Group (Rotterdam) says it has acquired 100% of the shares of Chemimpo South Africa (Johannesburg), through its subsidiary IMCD South Africa. The two companies will integrate through the course of 2013. The integration is expected to establish IMCD South Africa as the leading specialty chemical distributor in sub-Saharan Africa, IMCD says.
