Danisco to Buy South African Bakery Enzymes Business

Danisco has signed an agreement to acquire the shares of Innovative Ingredients (Cape Town, South Africa), a maker of industrial bakery enzymes for the South African market. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition will significantly strengthen Danisco’s presence in the South African industrial bakery enzymes market, says Lars Obel, business director/food and beverage enzymes at Danisco.
