Regions :: Africa :: Libya Yara to Establish Fertilizer JV in Libya2:07 AM MDT | July 18, 2008 | Deepti Ramesh Yara International ASA (Oslo) says it has completed all agreements with the National Oil Corporation of Libya (NOC; Tripoli) and the Libyan Investment Authority (LIA; Tripoli) to establish a previously announced joint venture for the production and marketing of mineral fertilizers. Yara will have 50% stake in the jv, and NOC and LIA will together own the other 50%, Yara says. Financial terms were not disclosed.
