KBR Awarded Study for Major Complex in Egypt

KBR says it has been awarded a contract by Egypt Hydrocarbon Corp. (EHC; Cairo) for a pre-front-end engineering design study of two polyethylene (PE) plants that would form part of a major manufacturing complex at Ain Sokhna near Suez, Egypt. The plants would make high-density PE and linear low-density PE. Each would have a capacity of 450,000 m.t./year.
