Regions :: Africa :: Egypt KBR Awarded Contract for Ammonia Plant in Egypt9:59 AM MST | December 30, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh KBR (Houston) says it has been awarded a contract by Tecnimont for the license and basic engineering design of a new ammonia plant to be built by Chemical Industries Holding (Cairo) at Aswan, Egypt. KBR will provide Chemical Industries Holding with a license for its proprietary Purifier ammonia technology and related engineering services for its new plant, under the terms of the deal. The plant is being built on a fast-track basis and will support regional development plans in Aswan as well as Egypt’s drive to build modern fertilizer complexes, KBR says...
