Reports: Sonatrach and Spanish conglomerate sign agreements related to fertilizer JV's

Sonatrach (Algiers) and the Villar Mir (Madrid) conglomerate signed two agreements related to their fertilizer activities in Algeria, local media sources report. The first agreement revises several undisclosed aspects of the Fertial (Annaba, Algeria) 66-34 joint venture between Villar Mir's fertilizer subsidiary Fertiberia (Madrid) and the Asmidal Group, a subsidiary of Sonatrach. The agreement is aimed at "rebalancing the economic and operational interests of both parties," the reports say. The jv has production facilities at Annaba and Arzew, Algeria...
