Canadian Firm Completes Potash Study in Ethiopia

Potash mining firm Allana Resources (Toronto) says it has completed an “initial reconnaissance exploration program” for a potash mining project in the Danakil Depression, Ethiopia. The program focused on structural mapping of the salt domes in the center of the basin, as well as other structural mapping and sampling of geothermal hot springs to determine the chemistry of the brines.
