![]() U.S. Olefins and Feedstocks Fall7:59 AM MDT | August 11, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley U.S. feedstocks moved lower this week on falling crude oil prices and dismal news from the financial sector. Ethane fell about 14 cts/gal while butane fell about 15 cts/gal. Propane was down about 6 cts/gal. Spot olefins were mostly down. Ethylene fell about 3 cts/lb, while both grades of propylene each lost about a penny. Ethylene contracts for July rolled over at 56.75 cts/lb. Spot butadiene fell about 3 cts/lb, but is still hovering around the $2.00/lb mark. On the contract side, August butadiene reached a split settlement, with three producers settling up 5...
