Prices in Asia Continue to Decline

Propylene prices in Asia fell from USD 1370-1380 to USD 1350-1360 on lower demand. Market sentiments are low and buyers are in a wait and watch mode to buy the product, sources say. However, ethylene prices began to rebound, about $10/m.t., to $1060-1070/m.t. Players say they expect price levels will continue to move up in the short-term as a number of shutdowns are expected in July.
