![]() Polymer Prices in U.S. and Europe Trend Higher10:59 AM MDT | August 10, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley For the first time in many months, spot and contract price changes in thermoplastics were reported to be modest through the end of July and into August. Increases in spot polyethylene (PE) prices in North America ranged from just $10/m.t. for blow-molding grade high-density PE (HDPE) to $40/m.t. for injection grade HDPE, and $70/m.t. for low-density PE (LDPE) to $100/m.t. for linear LDPE (LLDPE).
