Upstream strength, including in crude, naphtha and feedstock propylene, together allowed sellers to push higher their spot PP prices. Improved buying trends across parts of Asia also supported the rise in spot PP prices. In China, where demand for imported PP was not robust, domestic prices of PP injection and PP raffia were at the Yuan 12200/mt ex works levels. Flat demand trends kept prices of HDPE from rising.
