![]() Polymer Prices Fall8:36 AM MST | December 20, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley Polymer trading in the first half of December was reported to be primarily concerned with digesting the contract price agreements in Europe. North American contract levels for November polyolefins were agreed lower by 6-8 cts/lb. Polystyrene was said to drop a dime. Export markets were mostly unchanged, except for general-purpose PS, which slipped $100/m.t. In Europe PS was also lower in export markets, off $150/m.t. for both grades.
