![]() Olefins Prices On the Rise in U.S.12:38 PM MST | January 11, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley North American feedstock prices were mixed this week. Ethane fell about 4 cts/gal, while propane was lower by about 6 cts/gal. Naphtha rose about 8 cts/gal, while butane was unchanged. Undeterred by upstream feedstock prices, most U.S. spot olefins prices were on the rise. Spot ethylene rose about 5 cts/lb to near the 60 cts/lb mark. Spot propylene gained about a penny, while butadiene was stable.
