![]() Olefins Prices Mostly Up in U.S., Mixed in Europe2:07 PM MDT | September 14, 2011 | Lindsey Bewley North American feedstocks were up on higher crude oil prices. Ethane rose about a half a penny while both propane butane gained 1 ct/gal. Naphtha rose about 10 cts/gal. Spot ethylene prices fell about 1.5 cts/lb, to 62.75 cts/lb, sources say. On the contract side, September remains unsettled. Meanwhile, contracts for both grades of propylene settled for September, with PGP at 78 cts/lb and CGP at 76.5 cts/lb.
