![]() Olefins Prices Mixed in U.S. and Europe9:59 AM MDT | July 12, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley Hints of firming were reported in primary hydrocarbon markets, with crude oil higher by $4 to $6/bbl and natural gas on the Henry Hub stabilizing at around $2.75/million Btu. Downstream, there were conflicting stories told in olefins and polymers, with prices plunging for June late-month settlements but those lower prices are also said to be stimulating demand. Among North American feedstocks, both ethane and propane gained a penny. Butane rose about 7 cts/gal, while naphtha remained unchanged at about $1.80/gal. Spot olefins in the U.S. were mixed...
