Spot naphtha in northwest Europe slid $35/m.t. in line with lower prices for crude, and spot olefins continued their declines, players report. Ethylene gave up €30/m.t. while propylene retreated €40/m.t. Spot butadiene was the loss leader with transactions confirmed at $1200/m.t. lower than at the beginning of the month, and well below current contract levels. In North America...
