European players got the isomers market off to a modest start with an agreement of the ortho-xylene contract lower by €40/m.t. In contrast, North American oX producers have on the table a 5 cts/lb higher nomination for July. Spot ortho- was quiet, but spot para-xylene was said to be lower by $55/m.t. in North America and down by twice that in Europe.
