European ortho-xylene was agreed higher by €35/m.t. Ortho-xylene producers in the U.S. nominated October increases in a range from 2.5 cts/lb to 6.5 cts/lb. However, oX spot prices were lower by $85/m.t. in Europe and 3 cts/lb in North America. Spot para-xylene was off even more sharply, down $80/m.t. in North America and $110/m.t. in Europe.
