Chinese Polymer Prices Tumble

Sellers of PP across Asia this week were seen attempting to hike their offers citing early signs of an improvement in regional buying trends. In several parts of Asia, demand for PP continued sluggish, however in other parts, especially the South East, sellers cited a lift in need based buying activity which in their reading signaled the end of the bearish regional pricing trends.   PP raffia and PP injection grade prices were assessed up at the USD 1200/mt CFR Far East Asia basis with CFR South East Asia prices assessed at the USD 1230/mt levels.
