Chemicals Prices Soar in Asia

Naphtha price levels moved up drastically in the last few weeks on rising crude oil prices. The market scenario indicates further movement of price in the northward direction.   Ethylene price levels moved upwards due to rising prices for crude and naphtha prices. This is expected to remain strong in the coming weeks. However, a number of plants are expected to down for maintenance in the coming weeks and ethylene is expected to be tight. Styrene prices moved northward from USD 1420-1430 to USD 1450-1460. Butadiene moved up from USD 3550-3560 to USD...
