Asia Olefins Prices Headed Upward

Ethylene price levels moved up to USD 1050-1060 as compared to USD 890-900 last week. This is the effect of the increasing crude prices and the movement down the value chain. It is expected that price levels will stabilize in the coming weeks, as inventories are building. Butadiene prices rose to USD 2420-2430 as compared o USD 2300- 2310 as a result rising crude oil prices. say that this is a short term increase and the price levels will come down in the coming weeks.
