Aromatics Up Sharply in Europe and U.S.

 In aromatics there were upheavals in Europe, with spot benzene and mixed xylenes not coming from the refinery pool for petrochemical production. Those were both higher by $70/m.t. Conversely, lack of fuels blending left toluene off the pace, gaining just $55/m.t., players said. Styrene saw a steep spike of $110/m.t. as both benzene and ethylene prices rose.
