Benzene on the U.S. Gulf Coast saw buyer drop bids by 20 cts/gal with sellers countering with offers lower by 10 cts/gal. Spot toluene was more organized with a uniform decrease of 15 cts/gal, traders say. Mixed xylenes were the only gainers in the group, as sellers raised offers by 10 cts/gal while buyers were willing to increase bids by 5 cts/gal. Spot styrene responded to the plunge in European prices by falling 6 cts/lb. In Europe, buyers ran the table, with benzene down by $50/m.t...
