![]() Aromatics Activity Quiet in U.S., But Moving in Europe9:10 AM MDT | August 26, 2010 | Lindsey Bewley There was no meaningful movement this week reported in spot aromatics on the U.S. Gulf Coast with the late-summer doldrums in full effect. However, there was at least a murmur of activity in European spot markets, with buyers prevailing. Spot benzene was said to be lower by an average of $25/m.t. in a narrowing trading range. Toluene and mixed xylenes were quiet, while spot styrene declined by an average of $15/m.t. in a narrowing range.
