![]() Aromatics Prices Ease Slightly in U.S.1:04 PM MDT | August 21, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley Aromatics traders reported active business on both sides of the Atlantic: mostly lower on the U.S. Gulf Coast and higher in Europe. Spot benzene on the U.S. Gulf led the way down, skidding 25 cts/gal. Spot toluene was also reported lower, dropping a dime on sellers. Mixed xylenes was the sole gainer in the group, with a modest increase of 5 cts/gal. Styrene was still reported firm, but not as tight as in recent weeks as a result of some production coming back.
