European Olefins Prices Post Declines

Declines accelerated in European olefins. The May ethylene contract was settled lower by €20/m.t., a disappointment to producers who were hoping to hold the line at a roll from April. The propylene contract was agreed lower by €15/m.t. while butadiene was done for May at a decrease of €25/m.t. On the spot side, sentiment was heavily negative.
