![]() Polyolefins Prices Rise in Europe and U.S.12:48 PM MST | January 11, 2012 | Lindsey Bewley North American polyolefin producers say they were able to achieve an increase of 5 cts/lb on all types of polyethylene for the December contract, as well as 4 cts/lb in polypropylene. There are further nominations on the table of 4 cts/lb in PE for January. European polymer producers are also on the offensive this month, saying that the market bottomed out in December with declines of €150/m.t. in PE and €100/m.t. in PP.
