Polymer prices settled, mostly raised

After protracted negotiations over June polymer contracts in Europe, with buyers seeking sharp reductions and sellers trying to add to recent gains, the net changes agreed were modest. Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and linear LDPE saw the greatest gains, €60/m.t. ($80), with polyvinyl chloride (PVC) a close follower, with an increase of €50/m.t. Polypropylene (PP) tacked on €20/m.t., while polystyrene (PS) added €30/m.t, sources say. The only decliner was high-density polyethylene (PE), off €20/m.t., traders report. Spot...
