Polymer Prices in China Mixed

Prices of PP climbed this week in Asia. Gains were recorded despite softer upstream propylene rates. Sellers attributed the price climb to strong demand in China coupled with reports of tightening regional availability. CFR Far East Asia prices of PP injection and PP raffia were assessed up at the USD 1370/mt levels while PP copolymer prices were assessed up at the USD 1470/mt CFR Far East Asia levels. In China, local prices were increased this week by producers like Sinopec. Ex factory prices of PP injectin and PP raffia were revised up to the Yuan 11400/mt...
