The results were mixed, market watchers report. Producers of low-density polyethylene and polypropylene were able to secure increases of €120-130/m.t., while sellers of linear LDPE were only able to tack on about €30/m.t. Polystyrene producers, who had nominated an €70/m.t. increase, ended up with general-purpose grade prices lower by €60/m.t. and high-impact material down by more than €100/m.t.
