Polymer Prices Sag in June Settlements

June contract prices for polymers were lower across the board, buyers report, but sellers note that the decreases were not as much as were anticipated, and that demand is showing signs of life. There seemed to be little unformity in price changes within resin types. Polypropylene led the way down in North America, off 16 cts/lb, but PP spot prices wre lower by only $50/m.t.
